This past weekend we went to Antelope Canyon which is in Page, Arizona near Lake Powell. There are incredible slot canyons that tower more than 130' overhead in many places. The light does some incredible things inside the canyons which are only shoulder-wide in some sections and over 20' wide in others.
And here we all are at the back entrance to one of the canyons . . .

I love how the light is captured in these photos. They are wonderful.
Pa-D, these pictures are great! Love the light and would love to go there myself some day... who knows. Keep posting!
Thank you both for your comments/compliments.
Wiedebas - Ya know the irony here is that we were accompanied by a guy from the Netherlands on one of our canyon tours this past weekend. He owns a VW van that he keeps in San Fransisco that he tours around in and uses as a mini-RV while vacationing in the US.
I will try to keep the photos coming. Next post will be strobist . . .
Might have you take a few of those, 8x10 em, and send them over.....looks great.
Mike - Yeah, great man. You know how to get in touch with me. Let me know which ones you like and I can make a few prints.
